A coaching philosophy is the most important tool for guiding you how to coach. It provides you with clear guidance on the objectives to pursue and the approach you will take to achieve them. It helps you to make effective, consistent decisions, and to coach in a way that adheres to your values.

In the day to day variability of your coaching practices, your philosophy remains a constant. the philosophy you present to the players will influence their future beliefs and experience in the sport.
